Sahndra Fon Dufe is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Black Film Wire, where she leads the publication’s editorial direction and coverage of Black and African cinema, filmmakers, industry trends, and global storytelling.
She is a Cameroonian-born writer, communications strategist, filmmaker, and cultural entrepreneur with a background spanning journalism, publishing, film, and media development. A Commonwealth of Nations-recognized author, she is the creator of the Yefon trilogy, an Amazon #1 bestselling historical fiction and children’s book series used in select school curricula in Cameroon.
Sahndra is also the Founder of African Pictures International, where she develops stories and platforms that connect African talent with global audiences. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, she is passionate about expanding visibility for Black and African storytellers worldwide.

Akinwande Remilekun Jordan is a film critic, journalist and junior editor at Black Film Wire. He previously served as an editor at Saharan Style. His writing has appeared in 49th Street, What Kept Me Up, Get Unruly, and Screen in Transit, where he covers film, culture, and the arts. He is particularly interested in world cinema, film history, and contemporary criticism. Outside of work, he enjoys reading literary fiction, philosophy, revisiting obscure cinema, collecting comic books and discovering new music.

Miracle Winston Esin writes about films, stories, and the people shaping culture today. At Black Film Wire and African Pictures International, she covers a wide range of topics, including reviews, recommendations, red-carpet moments, event recaps, press releases, and behind-the-scenes talent profiles. She loves turning moments into stories, whether she’s writing, designing visuals, or capturing the energy of an event. Miracle believes in storytelling that’s rooted in the Black creative experience.

Sakah Siona Yuveyonge is a writer and freelance translator from Cameroon with a flair for clarity, creativity, and cultural insight. She crafts compelling digital content and brand stories, and has experience consulting for F-ETCH Travel as well as writing for Blackfilmwire. Her work combines strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of her audience.

Adesewa Bolu is a creative thinker and a sharp movie critic—an African woman who proudly embraces her roots and expresses them through her work. She has worked as a Radio host, Production Manager and Line Producer in Nigeria’s sprawling media sector.  With over five years of experience in the entertainment and media space, she brings depth, insight, and passion to every story she touches.

John Eriomala is a culture journalist from Nigeria who’s currently a fifth-year medical student at the University of Ibadan. He writes primarily on music and film, and to an increasing extent, literature and stage plays. His works have appeared in Black Film Wire, The Republic, Lagos Review, WeTalkSound, Afrocritik, and NATIVE Magazine.

Sule Azeezat Aransiola is a Social Media Associate at Black Film Wire, where she creates and manages content, develops digital campaigns, and engages audiences across social media platforms to highlight Black cinema and industry insights. She leads The Bola Brand, an emerging lifestyle and gifting business, and is the founder of Bola’s Book Club, a community dedicated to inspiring consistent reading and thoughtful discussions.

Based in Nigeria, Azeezat studied Nutrition and Dietetics. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring healthy living, and creating engaging content. She is currently pivoting into Product Marketing.

Oluwaseun is a writer at Black Film Wire who covers Black excellence across film and culture, especially interested in spotlighting young talent coming up in the industry, while also celebrating veterans and unique voices who’ve shaped and continue to shape the space. Her work honours the craft, impact and the stories behind the people pushing Black storytelling forward.

Samuel Ogbegun is the driving force behind the IT design and development of Black Film Wire. His passion for both technology and the film industry fuels his work. With several certifications under his belt, He's committed to ensuring you receive the best insights and updates about black films.
