Carolyn Hutchings Launches AfriVista Films, a New Studio Focused on African Stories with Global Impact

Nigerian actress, producer, entrepreneur, and media personality Carolyna Hutchings has announced the launch of AFRIVISTA FILMS, a  production company dedicated to developing and producing African stories for local and global audiences.

The announcement was made via social media, where Hutchings described the venture as the next chapter in a career that has spanned acting, producing, and storytelling. Reflecting on her journey, she noted that after producing multiple award-winning feature films and receiving recognition both within Nigeria and internationally, she felt the time had come to build something larger than herself.

According to Hutchings, AfriVista Films will focus on creating authentic, impactful stories across multiple genres, including drama, thrillers, true-life stories, and documentaries. The company aims to develop projects that resonate with audiences while showcasing the richness, diversity, and complexity of African experiences.

Beyond content creation, the newly launched studio has also positioned talent development as a central part of its mission.
